Long Distance Calling Launch Video for Getaway

Long Distance Calling are set to release their new album TRIPS on April 29th, 2016 via InsideOut Music. With just a few weeks to go, the band have launched the brilliant 80's-inspired video for the albums opening track Getaway, featuring German actor Ralf Richter (Das Boot, Bang Boom Bang).

You can watch the video here:

The band had this to say:
"Ladies and Gents, here´s the brand new video clip for the song Getaway. It was great fun to work with German actor Ralf Richter (Bang Boom Bang, Das Boot, etc), who played in a lot of cool movies which we really like and which we grew up to. We are big fans of movies from the 80ties and you might get a taste of that in the clip. The video shoot was fun and as you can see in the video, it was probably more fun for him than for us, haha. Getaway is the opening track on TRIPS and we can´t wait to play it live. Tell all your friends!"
The band also recently launched a lyric video for Lines, featuring Norwegian vocalist Petter Carlsen. You can watch the video here:

Haken Release New Video and Add Tour Dates

Haken are set to release their fourth full-length studio album Affinity, on April 29th, 2016. With just a few short weeks to go, the band are pleased to launch a lyric video for brand new track The Endless Knot.

Check it out here:

The band had this to say:
"The Endless Knot explores ideas of human survival instinct and the power of unity in the face of extinction. Musically, you could say this is new territory for us as we've taken sounds from dance and electronica music and blended them with our own brand of rock/metal. The end result hopefully gives the song a nice and upbeat, energetic feel. The visuals loosely follow the life-cycle of a star and Miles Skarin at Crystal Spotlight did an awesome job with the animation on this one!"

They also recently released a video for the track Initiate which you can see here.
You can now digitally pre-order the album here.

Preorder the album on iTunes or Amazon and receive this track immediately:

Dust, The Enid’s 14th studio record, is out on 1st April on the band’s Operation Seraphim label, closely following 2015’s The Bridge.

Says The Enid founder Robert John Godfrey:
“Dust is the last in the Journey’s End trilogy, telling the story of the band’s generational voyage from the past into the . Needless to say this has been very much an evolutionary tale with many surprises along the way. This is by far the best of these albums.”

Haken Announce New Album and Tour Dates

Haken are pleased to announce the release of Affinity, their fourth full-length studio album and the follow-up to their acclaimed 2013 album The Mountain, on April 29th, 2016.  Head over to the band's website to discover a teaser for the album: http://hakenmusic.com/haken-album-four-press-release

Since releasing their highly praised EP Restoration in 2014, Haken have been making waves on the live circuit, including appearances at high-profile festivals such as Hellfest, Ramblin' Man Fair, Be Prog! Affinity will arrive as a Limited Edition Digipak (incl. bonus disc with instrumentals), 180g Gatefold 2 LP Edition (incl. album on CD), Standard CD Jewel Case, Digital Download and Deluxe Digital Download (incl. instrumental version of the album as bonus).

Dream Theater’s New Album Will Be Concept Album

As Dream Theater were announcing a new European tour for early 2016, one in which they announced that they'll be performing their forthcoming album in its entirety, promoters were leaking the new album's title. Dream Theater confirmed that the new opus will be called The Astonishing. This will be the first concept album they've written since 2002's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

We now know a little more about the album itself, thanks to Dream Theater's own newsletter sign-up.

The Astonishing will relate the story of a rebellion against the Great Northern Empire of North America, led by the Ravenskill Militia. It is 2285, the people of North America live under the rule of Lord Nafaryus, emperor of the Realm. Ravenskill, a small town on the outskirts of the Realm, is trying to start a rebellion against the tyrant by sending a message via the implants all the inhabitants of the Realm have.

When you go to their main website, you have to choose one of two sign-up pages. One is for the Great Northern Empire, the other is for the Ravenskill Rebel Militia. Go and sign-up to both to receive both the Emperor's message and the Militia's message, and learn more about the upcoming battle.

Equal parts grandiose and crushing, melodic and energetic, enjoy the first taste of Caligula's Horse's third record Bloom right this moment.

Check out a trailer for the album here: https://youtu.be/3iwexAFmZuQ

Having secured deals with The Agency Group for live bookings, and signing an international record deal with lauded prog/metal label InsideOut Music (home to Devin Townsend, Spock's Beard and Pain of Salvation), the band will tour Australia with UK metal heroes TesseracT this October, before embarking on an extensive month-long tour of Europe and the UK with Norwegian blackjazz innovators Shining.
