On this week's radio show on UK70sProgRock I present the latest releases by new and upcoming prog bands as well as older more established bands. One of those releases is the new Ian Anderson CD TAAB II, the follow-up to 1972's excellent Thick As A Brick. to learn more about why Ian decided to revisit this classic album, and to learn more about the new tour, go to Jethro Tull's website by following the link below.
In other news, a review of the new Delusion Squared is now up in the CD Reviews section of this website. I have also updated the Upcoming Festivals section of the website with the final line-ups for the Fused Festival, the Rock In Opposition Festival and the Night of the Progs Festival. The Crescendo Festival is starting to announce which bands will be make the cut, and a new US festival, The FarFest, has officially been announced and I have listed the bands that are going to appear there.

Interview with Eric Blackwood of Edison's Children
This week's guest on the International Prog Rock Rock is Eric Blackwood, one half of Edison's Children, the other half being bassist extraordinaire Pete Trewavas. How did this band form, how did Eric and Pete meet? The International Prog Rock Show will now air once a month, on the first Friday of each month, for the foreseeable future. The reasons for this are many, but a major one is that doing a radio show on a weekly basis doesn't allow me to write comprehensive reviews of the CDs I receive. So for the moment the show will be monthly, probably 4 hours instead of 3, and will have more new music and more interviews.
And who knows, I may be able to bring the show to a bi-weekly format sooner than you think.

First off, as most of you may know, the radio show now airs twice a week on UK70sProgRock internet radio station, once on Fridays at 2 PM EST (7 PM GMT), and repeats on Saturdays at 7 PM EST (Midnight GMT). This allows listeners from North America to listen to the radio show at a reasonnable hour, since on Fridays most of you (hopefully) are at work.
This week on the International Prog Rock Show I presented some new releases from 2012, and some 2011 releases that were late in coming to my attention, or that were released late in the year. The new RPWL, "Beyond Man and Time", is an album every fan will love, and an album that will create new fans for this great German band. I will soon post a review of the CD, but here is a taster. The new Delusion Squared, "II", follows the immensely succesful self-titled debut, and doesn't stray much from it. Great melodies and playing, I will also post a review soon. As for the others, listen to the radio show and I am sure you will love every piece of music here.
