The Seventh Wave May Be Centerpiece of Kate Bush Shows
It looks like side two of The Hounds of Love, Kate Bush's most honoured album, is to be the centerpiece of her residency at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
Kate Bush spent three days in a floatation tank to film part of a video that will be presented during The Seventh Wave suite, a series of songs that fill what used to be called "side 2" of The Hounds of Love album. The sequenced filmed, the rescue of a woman caught in stormy seas, will be shown during the song Hello Earth.
She recently said: "It's about a woman who's lost at sea, but is rescued in the end. Months ago I thought that, as part of the show centres around the musical piece, it would hopefully make a dramatic shot."
Kate Bush will be at the famous Hammersmith Apollo for a series of 22 sold-out shows, her first in 35 years, on August 26, 27, 29, and 30, as well as on September 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, and October 1.
Some shows, if not all will be recorded and filmed for a future DVD release.
